"You have no idea how happy I am now that I no longer bite my nails. For me, movie times were the worst - I would destroy 1 or 2 weeks of growth in less than 5 minutes! I was desperate, truly. Now that I no longer do it though, I somehow feel more complete, as if the loop is closed." Sheila, 28, News Reporter   Case History

Wow! Look at the growth and improvement only after 3 Weeks!

"This technique was so simple, I almost laughed and was highly skeptical. My habit was so bad that I would also target the skin around the nails until blood flowed. I was sure that my problem was deep seated. Today, my nails are wonderful, and I once again enjoy holding hands with my boyfriend and passing business cards in a meeting." Sandra, 26, Sales Manager  Case History

"There was simply no way that I could stop on my own. I had tried for 18 years, with no success. I simply could not find anyone who could help me. Using this technique, I stopped altogether in about 1.5 weeks, and never relapsed. I am eternally grateful for finding this resource." Antony, 38, Consultant   Case History

"I am sending this letter only to say Thank You. After reading the book, and trying the cure, I stopped almost within 3 days. It has now been 3 months, and I don't even think about my nails. My wedding is coming up, and you have given me the best gift of all. My fiancee is so happy with me, and best of all, I am happy with myself. I simply cannot thank you enough. Please keep this site up and help others; if you need me as a reference please give anyone in doubt my contact details" Steven, 24, Police Officer, NY   Case History

Michelle came to a personal one on one session just today, October 7th 2003. She listened to the materials, and took home the technique. She has promised to follow up with me in about 3 weeks. Please check back here and see her progress at the end of October, 2003. Michellle, 34, Housewife   Case Update

I cannot believe that this ghost is finally dead for me. I have used your technique for the last 5 weeks. I am completely habit free, and I urge you to continue sharing this program with other people. If they are as despondent as I was, you have an obligation to make sure everyone gets the secret." Jeffery C., 48, Legal Counsel   Case History

"This is confirmation that I have received the package. I have spent the weekend reading the material, and I can say that when I finished reading the solution chapter I was actually laughing... Laughing because for 25 years I have felt powerless to stop this habit - and yet in one page you describe a technique that I know will work. I just had to laugh!!! So now, after three days I have still only applied the method a few times - the strength seems to come from KNOWING a way out!" Mathew, Book Purchase (e-mail dated Nov 17, 2003)   Case History
You Should Read This Case

We received your book this past week and I started the technique right away. I'm on day six of no nail biting and it's been so much easier than I ever would have thought. Truly can't believe it's been six days already! I can't wait to show the family at Christmas that after probably close to 30 years of nail biting, I have finally kicked the habit!" Aah, so easy to quit when you know the secret...

Hi Gil, Thanks very much for enquiring. I have read the book and not bitten my nails since. I am scared I will go back to the habit as I have been doing it for so long. It has been about five weeks since I started and my nails are not fully grown yet but they are a vast improvement. I hear they take about 6 months to look good after biting them for so long. My husband is amazed, I have been trying to stop for years (I am 31 and a mother to 6 great kids) and each time he has encouraged me and tried to help me and each time I have gone back to the habit about four to six weeks later and I felt I had not only let myself down but let him down too. The only time I haven't bitten my nails for a long time is when I have just had a baby (maybe there is something behind that!!). When I see people in shops and bars and restaurants who bite their nails and are complete strangers (none of my friends have this terrible habit) I feel like giving them your website to help them but I think it might be a bit rude!! As you say in your book it is a real burden and one feels quite embarrassed about doing such a childish thing when one is a grown up. Thank you so so much for sharing your technique and I will promote your website when I can. V.B., Name Withheld upon request (email dated Dec 18, 2003)   Case History

"Thought I would drop by and give you an update on how I am doing. Well its been a week since I have started the treatment and I have not bitten my nails. I have targeted a few times and come close but managed to stop myself and apply the treatment. I can already notice a difference on a couple of nails. Some of the others my take a while to notice any difference. Thank you so much and yes I will keep you updated on my progress." Kellie, age unknown (email dated Jan 31, 2004)   Case History

"Received the book and have implemented the program for about 2 weeks. Going pretty well so far although since my nails are longer now than they have been anytime in the last 25 years, they are more tempting than ever to bite. Still haven't gotten rid of the urge to bite my nails but the program is in place and I haven't done it for 2 weeks. Thanks for putting together your program and making it available to the general public. I'll keep you posted as I progress." Todd, Executive (email dated Feb 3, 2004)   Case History

"Hi Gil,
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you - busy at work and on holidays. But I would like to take the time to say thank you for your keen insight into a problem I have been fighting for nearly thirty years! Finally I am on the road to confidence - I can now feel comfortable showing my fingers in public. I can now scratch an itch!!!

Perhaps the way that I have reached this point is not the most common of ways given your method, but still I can certainly say that it was only from reading your book that I found the strength to stop.

Essentially, the night that I received your book I read it from cover to cover. By the time I reached the solution chapter, I was entirely convinced that you understood not only the physical habit of nail biting, but also the psychological impact that such a habit can impose on someone's life. The solution chapter though immediately lightened my mood!!! In fact I found myself laughing at your method - in fact not at the method, but at the simplicity of the solution that I knew would stop my nail biting for good!

So since this night, I have applied your method for no more than four days. No further application was necessary because I feel so much stronger knowing that I can stop. It seems that by simply knowing I can stop (using your method), I have the determination and motivation to keep the habit out - really for good!

It has now been two months. All is good, but I think further repair time is required to really have "normalized" nails - for the first time in my life I should note. I feel that they are getting stronger every week. I am looking forward to looking at them in one years time where the final marks of abuse will truly be behind us (me and my fingers J).

Therefore I must say thank you! I wish you much success in the further sales of your book, and much success to those other nail biters that have yet to learn how easy it is to stop!!!" Mathew, Occupation unknown (email dated Feb 9, 2004)   Case History

"Dear Gil:
Just had to drop you a note to tell you that I have my own nails...the FIRST time in 40 years! I am still in shock and keep staring at my hands in disbelief. I started your technique on November 18, 2003 and was getting discouraged that my nails weren't growing although I clearly was more aware of my habit and wasn't biting. I did go from biting to picking at the cuticles but then was finally able to break that as well. It has taken exactly 3 months for nail growth to finally appear! Up until now, I never knew what my nails looked liked! Now I have 10 beautiful nails and I can do things with them such as putting on my necklaces and bracelets (couldn't open the clasps before)! I wish I had known about this years ago. I can't believe how many things I tried and how much money was spent! Thank you for providing the website that came up when I searched for an answer! Jackie purchased the boook via the web site way back on Oct 20th, 2003. We checked up with her several times, and she mentioned that things were going fine. From the look of these pictures though, we would say that "fine" is an understatement! We are standing by for Jackie's own words so that she can tell her story her. We hope that her success will motivate other people as well.

"Absolutely...My nails look great! I still sometimes use your technique, just as a reminder, but I almost never have to use it anyore! I can't thank you enough for coming up with a permanent (and EASY!) solution to something I didn't think I would ever be able to control let alone stop. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!" "Gil,
Since I started with your book and approach the last week of December 2003, I haven't bitten my nails at all. I used the technique approach for about 2 weeks solid, and then weaned myself off of it by the end of January.

Ever since my nails have grown out to a normal length, I don't have the urge to bite them like I used to.I have thin, easily broken nails thanks to heredity, and every now and then one will chip or get broken, but now they're long enough to just break out the clippers and shape them up! I even took a trip to Paris France at the end of February and did not bite my nails at all on the 10 hour flights there and back! Now that's success! Thanks for your book and all your support!" R. was one of the first persons to purchase the book via the website way back in October, 2003. In fact accounting tells me that it was on October 20th that we shipped. Although we were confident that we had the soltuion for her, we were a bit more curious and motivated to track her progress since she had stuck with us from the opening first days of the website. From the look of these pictures, we are glad that we kept in touch!

I believe that R.'s case was more challenging than most. She had e-mailed us once or twice and remarked that although improving, the urge to bite was dissipating more slowly than expected. In fact, she might have relapsed a bit following attendance at a hockey game one night. Still true to the technique though, she indicated to us that she had managed to completely quit the habit (and fade the technique) by late 2003. Hear her own words here and let us get out of the way! Nails to be proud of...way to go R.!!

"If you are really determined to stop biting your nails, then the approach explained in this book is as good an approach as any. Throw away the bad-tasting creams and polishes and tackle the problem at it's core. My nails used to be less than 5mm in length and now they can grow past the edge of the finger. I was able to prepare mentally for the difficult task of kicking a lifetime habit, and this book helped me accomplish my goal. Now if only I can quit smoking!" --- Ken C., Des Plaines IL (e-mail dated Apr 19, 2004)   Case Update
Read this play-by-play of one man's success!

"I will be the first to tell you that I was very surprised that the technique worked. I had tried a number of other techniques (including hypnosis, which worked for awhile but then it failed) and so far this has been the most consistent. It is embarrassingly simple yet phenomenally effective. The book was concise and clear and, although the description of the technique was short (almost by necessity since the technique is so simple) the sections before describing nail biting in general made you feel like you were not alone.

I highly recommend it. Cheap, simple, and effective. What more could you ask for?" H.A., McLean, Virginia (e-mail dated Apr 29, 2004)   Case Update

"Thank you. I'm doing very well. It's been almost exactly one month since I read your book and tried your approach. I have not chewed once in that time because the message that says to stop comes as soon as I even think about doing the 1st part of the process. I keep something on my wrist most of the time, a watch or a bracelet and some times a rubberband. But I've noticed that even when I don't have anything there, I can feel or sense something. My nails have a long ways to go / grow, but there's definitely progress. I keep hand creams and gentle files in several places." Mary Ann R., Traer Iowa (e-mail dated Aug 1, 2004)   Case Update

"Hello, Gil! It has now been six weeks and I am healed! No more picking, gouging and chewing! And you're right; quitting this despicable habit has opened me up to a whole new world of self confidence, self esteem, and self assurance. Instead of the technique, I treated myself to a gorgeous, expensive, Swiss watch! Who would have thought such a simple idea would be life altering?"

My thanks, best wishes, and gratitude."
Bella (e-mail dated Sep 2, 2004)

"Hi Gil,It took us a while but finally both my son LXXXr (who is 18) and I read through the book and applied your method with great success. It is amazing how effortless it actually was. I have not picked at my cuticles for almost 2 months, and LXXXR now has 3 weeks of not biting his nails.

Thank you so much." Ulrike (e-mail dated Aug 31, 2004)
The book contains data on whether nail biting is hereditary?

"This book has really encouraged me to study and confront my own behaviour objectively and truthfully. I feel I now have a deep understanding of my own habit. The technique has been totally empowering. I can now relax in the knowledge that I will never resume the habit. I am so glad that I came across this book and will now be recommending it to my fellow sufferers, my mother included!"
