Todd purchassed the book from us on Dec 23, 2003. On Feb 3, 2004 he writes:

"Received the book and have implemented the program for about 2 weeks. Going pretty well so far although since my nails are longer now than they have been anytime in the last 25 years, they are more tempting than ever to bite. Still haven't gotten rid of the urge to bite my nails but the program is in place and I haven't done it for 2 weeks. Thanks for putting together your program and making it available to the general public. I'll keep you posted as I progress."

Following this he writes - "I still seem to have the urge to pick at my nails. The urge to bite is pretty much gone. I'm still going strong though and hopefully any kind of preoccupation with my nails will soon be gone. Thanks again."

Incidentally, the urge to pick may linger for a bit even after the habit is broken. This is quite common, and this urge will fade out naturally. Will power has nothing to do with our cure, and this is why it is so easy and so powerful. Because we include in the text a very powerful technique for controlling unconscious behavior, the urge to pick can be easily recognized and halted long before it results in the habit's destructive behavior. Todd is doing very well now, and we are happy to see another success story!
